Performance/Installation at The Brewery, Los Angeles, CA

I asked several artists over the course of the month-long installation to draw the view out the window using me as a drawing tool. Wearing a welding mask fitted with a small color video camera showing blocking my vision, I blindly follow the instructions of the “Drawer” who must rely on the POV cam and accompanying B&W security monitor views to see what he is doing. The awkwardness of communication frustrated the artists but resulted in some very interesting translations of their particular take on the world through the medium of my body.
