Ibuki (Veterans Project)

Designed and Fabricated for Diavolo, Architecture in Motion, premiered 2016

Part of The Veterans Project, an ongoing practice of involving veterans of the Armed Services in training, developing and performing dance programs as a process of reintegrating them in civilian society.

Packed into the underside of this diminutive platform are battery powered remote-controlled lifters and lighting, so it can be repositioned on stage by the performers and remain stable enough for 10 people to be moving on it while doing so.
